Studio Research is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University. It has the following aims:
- to promote discourse and debate concerning art practice as research;
- to publish rigorously argued reflection by artists on their practice and methodology.
We are interested in submissions exploring interdisciplinary issues; questioning research methodologies in contemporary art; producing relationships between studio practice and writing; and connecting studio, theory, history, and praxis.
Studio Research is published in hardcopy and online, with the latter version including moving images where appropriate.
